Salesperson / Kitchen Designer

Job Status:
Full Time (40-45 Hours a week)
Compensation:
Salary plus Commission (Compensation based on experience)

| Summary
of Responsibilities: |
Generate sales through a complete sales process. Meet with potential customers, make creative suggestions, produce complete and detailed designs and provide customers with a comprehensive sales quote. Help coordinate all labor aspects of the job with either in-house installers or outside general contractors and subcontractors. Assist other salespeople as needed in pricing, selling and ordering kitchen related products. You must portray a positive and enthusiastic image to all of our customers.

Specific Duties: |
|
|
- Telephone calls
- Design, price and sell all products that Dream Kitchens & Baths offers
- Prioritize customer orders and special projects
- Schedule customer appointments for showroom and jobsites
- Review incoming vendor newsletters and promotional items
- Order and track products being received from vendors for your customers
- Relay scheduled deliveries and outgoing orders with sales assistant
- Coordinate customer deposits and final payments in accordance with policy
- Resolve customer and vendor issues
- Maintain a clean and organized office area
- Assist other designers as needed in pricing and coordinating jobs
- Update your personal sales binders, literature and vendor brochures on a regular basis
- Basic sales and service to walk-in customers
- Generate leads through personal contacts with builders, contractors, realtors and related trades people.

| Requirements: |
- A minimum of 5-7 years experience as a Kitchen Designer
- 3-5 years experience using 20/20 design software
- General construction knowledge and experience
- Travel to jobsites and customer’s homes to confirm measurements and make suggestions
- Ability to “cold call” area contractors, builders and developers to generate additional leads
- Attendance at ongoing training seminars and courses to improve product knowledge and salesmanship
- A “team concept” attitude and the ability to work well with others.

& success.
